Illustration Friday :SKY
Here is my Illustration Friday for Theme Sky.It is an oil painting I did last year.As it was a festive week in India ,I couldnt make out time for a new illustration for sky.Anyway hope this will make you smile.
I am also sharing some of my pics from the Durga festival here.
Durga Puja - the ceremonial worship of the mother goddess, is one of the most important festivals of India. Apart from being a religious festival for the Hindus, it is also an occasion for reunion and rejuvenation, and a celebration of traditional culture and customs. While the rituals entails ten days of fast, feast and worship, the last four days - Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Dashami - are celebrated with much gaiety and grandeur in India and abroad, especially in Bengal, where the ten-armed goddess riding the lion is worshipped with great passion and devotion.

Illustration Friday: Water
The early morning dew caressed petals
of garden flowers, allowing them to
hold their tiny heads toward the sky.
I wore the sun as a glove this morning,
covering my skin with its warm embrace, while
the mist from the garden hose ever so slightly
touched my legs as I watered our beautiful
Flowers.
A sense of tranquility came over me as I
stood there basking in the beauty of the day.
A slight wind touched the back of my neck
and I was sure I heard a whisper say,
I love you.

Latest on my children's book illustrations!
Friends, it's been a long time since my last post!
Life can be like a roller coaster ride, full of ups and downs.
I've my share of ups and downs. I know that God will see me through all situations, and I trust Him to do so.My father is not keeping well and I find myself more disturbed everyday, constantly pray he gets well soon! It is hard to see close family going through a hard situation.Yet people generally adapt well over time to life-changing situations and stressful conditions. What enables them to do so? It involves resilience, an ongoing process that requires time and effort and engages people in taking a number of steps.Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity.
I've been trying to be positive and focusing illustrating a couple of books.Hope things gets better gradually.
Latest on my children's book illustrationing! Some images from the story I finished recently.
Apart from this I completed two custom stories which will be published soon through "HAEM"
Thank you everyone for looking at this newest update to my blog.
